How accurate do the start and end dates need to be?​​​​

The project start and end dates are estimated dates. It's best practice to overestimate the end date.​​

Why is the owner's information needed?​

The owner’s information must be included in the Notice of Intent application. Except in the case of leased property, an owner is the party that has ultimate control and responsibility over the project. In the case of leased property, this role belongs to the lessor.​

Can anyone be designated the Responsible Corporate Officer (RCO)?

An RCO is any principal officer, partner, or proprietor responsible for a key business function, or any other individual who performs similar decision-making duties, is authorized to contractually bind the organization, and has the authority to enter into agreements on behalf of the corporation as required by federal or state statutes and/or regulations.
